PROTOTYPING, MARKET ANALYSIS

This course introduces the key methods and tools for reducing risk in game development through prototyping, market analysis, and user acquisition. Students develop practical and theoretical skills for informed decision-making in game production.

STAGE GATE PROCESS

This course introduces the Stage Gate Process in game development, covering its stages, decision gates, governance, documentation, risk management, and user feedback integration. Students also explore how Stage Gate compares with agile methods across different project types.

GAME PRODUCTION & TASKS TRACKING

This course provides a practical understanding of game production, including team organization, project planning, task tracking, and change management. Students gain hands-on experience with industry tools such as Jira and Trello, preparing them for production and project coordination roles in game development.

QUALITY ASSURANCE & CONTROL

This course provides a foundation in game Quality Assurance and Quality Control, covering test planning, bug tracking, manual and automated testing, certification, and continuous improvement. Students develop the skills needed to support quality throughout the game development lifecycle.

LAUNCH & GROWTH STRATEGY

This course covers the planning, execution, and optimization of game launches and post-launch growth. Students learn launch management, marketing, community engagement, KPI analysis, LiveOps, and growth strategies, preparing them for roles in game operations and publishing.

POST-LAUNCH MANAGEMENT

This course focuses on managing games after release, covering LiveOps, performance monitoring, player support, data analysis, update planning, crisis management, and lifecycle strategy. Students learn how to optimize game performance and sustain player engagement over time.

LIVEOPS, UPDATES & DLC

This course covers LiveOps, game updates, and DLC management, including event design, content planning, monetization, update pipelines, and performance analysis. Students learn how to manage live game content and sustain player engagement through ongoing operations.
